FAITH FUNDRAISING THROUGH FUNDSCRIP

What is the FundScrip fundraising program? FundScrip is an innovative program that offers a new way of raising funds for our church! It lets you earn cash rebates for Faith, based on everyday purchases like groceries, gas and other household items! Every month you spend hundreds of dollars for things like food, gas, clothing, pharmacy, restaurants, electronics, home renos, department stores, etc.


All you have to do is pay for your purchases with the gift cards purchased from FundScrip. A percentage of every gift card purchased from FundScrip is contributed to Faith’s fundraising efforts. So instead of paying with cash or a debit card, you use a gift card that you purchased through our group. It costs you nothing extra, but you just earned money for our organization! Don’t forget, the cards can be used as gifts too.


How to order your Gift Card & Support our Group: Place your order through the FundScrip website, www.fundscrip.com, using our group code: NUZ93S, or group name Faith UCW Hamilton. 


Once you have completed the sign up process, you will be sent a confirmation email. Click the link in the confirmation email to complete your registration.


Now you are ready to login, place orders and start supporting our group!


Have your gift card order mailed to you directly! You can order your gift cards online any time and have them shipped to your home address for$0.85 (plus taxes).

  • You pay this $0.85 (plus taxes) when you checkout your order.
  • There is a four (4) gift card limit in each order and a $500 maximum value of the cards.
  • Ordersare processed four (4) days a week (Monday through Thursday) at 9:15 am ET once payment has been confirmed.

Payment methods available to you

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)- FREE Requires completed application form and void cheque sent to FundScrip to be activated.
  • Interac Online- earnings reduced by $0.85 per transaction for those with accounts at the following financial institutions: RBC Royal Bank; BMO Bank of Montreal, ScotiaBank and TD Toronto Dominion 
  • Credit Card (earnings are reduced by 1.99%) Not recommended.
  • Online Banking Bill Payment - FREE Pay for your orders as you would pay any other bill. There are no fees or deductions to earnings for using this payment. Please note that it can take at least three (3) business days for FundScrip to receive payment.

Cash back for Faith - Please save your Denninger cash receipts!  Denninger’s offers gift certificates for a percentage of receipts collected. The Bids 'n' Bites Auction committee will use your cash receipts to purchase gift cards to be auctioned off in our Silent Auction. Please put your cash receipts in the receipt box on the table in Dickenson Hall! Thank you for your support.

 Heavenly Father ...
Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry and spend a few precious moments with her children.
Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.
Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day (who really ought to get a job!) is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.
Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together.
Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, show patience, empathy and love.
